Louis XV period, mid 18th century, curved beechwood frames, partly moulded and florally carved in the form of flowers and leaves, high-quality renewed seat, backrest and armrest upholstery, (imitation fish scale cover) 93 x 64 x 61 cm, seat height 42 cm, restored condition.
Oak body veneered with rosewood and marked in the shape of a field. Each with 2 small front drawers in the upper and lower sections. Gilded and siliceous bronze fittings. Profiled “Rance de Belgique” marble top. Restored condition, with natural shellac hand polished surface. Dimensions: 86.5 x 129 x 65 cm.
So-called. Bureau Plat, in the Louis XV style. Second half of the 19th century. Curved free-standing oak frame, rosewood veneered, polished, richly decorated with gilded chiselled bronze fittings. Three drawers, top with border and renewed, punched as well as gold decorated leather upholstery. Dimensions: 81 x 159 x 79 cm. Condition: beautiful, expertly restored condition. Ornamentally carved as well as in the form of acanthus leaves and pearl bars, matted, partly fluted, wallpapered on the reverse, loose seat cushions, usable on both sides, company name on the underside.
Curved oak frame veneered with light mahogany. 2 drawers on the narrower sides, 1 intermediate compartment with raised edge. Grey-white marble top set in a gilded gallery. Feet also gilded. Restored condition. Hand polished with natural shellac.
