Chest of drawers from France, Transition period, around 1770/75.
The contrasting marquetry and choice of materials is reminiscent of works by Adrien Delorme.
Various hardwoods and softwoods, veneered with rosewood and zebrano as well as cube-like marquetry with various precious woods, polished, 5 drawers at the front, the lower two “sans traverse”, protruding middle section, gilded bronze fittings, profiled marble top from a later period.

ox-eye profiles, carved in the form of quivers, flower festoons and laurel leaves, original gilding, renewed faceted mirror panel, 200 x 118 cm, beautiful well-kept general condition, lightly rubbed in places.

Louis XV style, France, end of the 19th century. Various hardwoods and softwoods, veneered, primed in red, decorated in lacquer technique in the form of landscape scenes on the reverse side, raised work. Two drawers on the front, sloping writing. Writing flap and two pull-out support slats. Interior with four drawers, sliding back bottom section, top and inside with red leather upholstery decorated with gold, gilded bronze ornamental fittings. Dimensions: 93 x 90 x 56 cm, beautiful restored condition
