So-called ‘desserte’, in the Louis XVI style, France, late 19th century, oak and mahogany, partly mahogany veneered, with polished finish in traditional artisanal technique, conical feet, one drawer, one intermediate compartment, chiselled gilt bronze fittings and top edgings, marble top, (Brèche d’Alep) 95 x 115 x 40 cm, beautiful professionally restored condition.

Owing to its material selection and superior craftsmanship, this piece calls to mind the work of François Linke.
